Terms of Service

Gearwise is a software platform operated by Limak Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 23 641 953 246). Throughout these Terms, "Gearwise", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Limak Solutions Pty Ltd.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Gearwise, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. What Gearwise is — and isn't

Gearwise is an organising and estimating tool for rental property income, expenses, and deduction tracking. It is not a licensed tax agent service and does not provide tax advice. Every AI-assisted assessment — regime detection, deduction risk, quote assessment — is an estimate only and must be confirmed with a qualified accountant or registered tax agent before you rely on it.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter into Gearwise.

4. Accountant Pack sharing

When you build and send an Accountant Pack, you're consenting to share the included financial summary with the named accounting firm. Gearwise only shares what you explicitly include in that pack.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access other users' data, or use Gearwise for any unlawful purpose.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Gearwise available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or change features over time.

7. Limitation of liability

Gearwise is provided "as is." Limak Solutions is not liable for tax outcomes, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on Gearwise's estimates in place of professional advice.
