Gearwise is a software platform operated by Limak Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 23 641 953 246), an Australian technology company. Throughout this policy, "Gearwise", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Limak Solutions Pty Ltd. This policy explains what information Gearwise collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.

2. Information we collect

To provide the service, Gearwise collects account details (name, email), property and financial records you enter (addresses, income, expenses, receipts), and usage data needed to operate the platform securely.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Gearwise application
• To generate the AI-assisted assessments described on our features page (clearly labelled as estimates, not tax determinations)
• To send account-related and, where you opt in, product communications
• To improve the reliability and security of the platform

4. Data isolation from LimakConnect

Gearwise data is stored in its own isolated database schema, fully separate from LimakConnect's firm and client data, even though both products are operated by Limak Solutions. Information is only shared with a specific accounting firm when you explicitly build and send an Accountant Pack.

5. Data security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to what's required to operate the service.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
